During the course of Sonic Battle, after building the Final Egg Blaster, he attached it to his Death Egg and waited for Emerl to appear. After being defeated by the Gizoid, Eggman fired the Final Egg Blaster on a group of stars, destroying them. This activated Emerl's original program, which was that the Gizoid will break its Link to its former Master and establish a new link with the owner of that overwhelming power. Unfortunately, Eggman's plan worked too well, as Emerl aimed the Final Egg Blaster at Mobius and set it to fire in 60 seconds.
Eggman, not wanting Emerl to destroy the planet (that way Eggman wouldn't have a world to rule), tried to command him to stop, but Emerl knocked him out. Sonic battled Emerl before the Blaster fired, restoring him to his old self again, but causing such damage that Emerl was destroyed as well. The Blaster was deactivated and Mobius was saved.
Sonic the Hedgehog 4Edit
The Final Egg Blaster reappears in Sonic the Hedgehog 4, where it's attached to the Death Egg Mark II, a new version of the Death Egg constructed around the Moon (in "Eggmanland utopia"). After Act 1 of Death Egg MK. II Zone in the Egg Hanger, Eggman tested the Final Egg Blaster by firing on a group of stars, destroying them. Before Act 3, Metal Sonic aimed the Final Egg Blaster at the Little Planet and set it to fire in 60 minutes. Unfortunately, Sonic and Tails defeated Metal Sonic. They meet Eggman in the control room of the Final Egg Blaster and battled the Egg Heart. The Blaster is only 20 minutes left to defeat the Egg Heart. In the bad ending, the Blaster still active and targeted the Little Planet. In the good ending, the Final Egg Blaster was deactivated while the Death Egg mk.II is drained of it's power and is left helpless above Mobius.
- Since Eggman attached a large cannon to the Death Egg, this further parodies the Death Star from Star Wars, because it has a large cannon that can destroy entire planets.
